Cantor Margaret Bruner, Religious Leader of Temple Beth El, Salinas will be joined by student Rabbi Elana Nemitoff to lead this year’s High Holy Day services.

Elana is a rising 5th year rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College who also received her Masters degree in Jewish Educational Leadership. She will offer a variety of sermons and teachings during the High Holy Days, and lead a Torah study on Yom Kippu

Cantor Bruner will lead the Temple Beth El High Holy Day choir. Local Jazz trumpet player, Stan Soroken will blow the Shofar and Cellist Ari Freedman will play the hauntingly beautiful melody of “Kol Nidre”.

For young families, there will be a childrens’ service on Yom Kippur afternoon.

All are welcome, however a donation is requested for non-members and guests.
